For citizens of countries not included in the list, you are required to supply documents and apply for a visa. Here are some documents that you will need to submit: 

  • Passport with a validity not less than 6 months
  • An accomplished visa application form
  • One recent photograph of the applicant (4cm x 6cm)
  • Round-trip air ticket or e-ticket that is paid in full
  • Financial statement (20,000 baht per person or 40,000 baht per family)
  • Proof of hotel reservations or private accommodation
  • Visa fee of $30 per entry (subject to change without prior notice) 
  • Certificate of Entry (COE) from local Thai Embassy or Consulate

The country’s peak season is usually from late November to early April, most especially during Christmas, New Year, and Chinese New Year.
